NORTEZAC PROFESSIONAL BOX FRAME DISC HARROWS
NORTEZAC Frame Disc Harrows are constructed of heavy steel square tubing. This tractor attachment connects to Standard Category 1, 3 point hitch, and it is also Quick Hitch compatible. The disc gang axles are made of 1 1/2" round high carbon steel rods mounted on double thrust sealed steel bearings. These disc harrows have four angle adjustments of 16 degrees, 30 degrees, 44 degrees, and 57 degrees with an easy single bolt adjustment. Hi. I'm Jake, from NORTEZAC SA DE CV, and im here today with the NORTEZAC brand of disc harrows.
This is their professional series. It's a fully box frame disc harrow, so it does have a lot of adjustment, and you've got four different holes where you're going to change the pitch of your disc. And that's going to control how much pull that it's going to make on your tractor, and how well it pulls the dirt up.
The more you change the angle, the more aggressive it is on the dirt. This is an all-notch disc, front and back. And in our hard red clay, to break up the clods, notched is the best, front and back. If you live in a semi-sandy area, you may want to put the smooth disc on the back. You can put the smooth disc on Both front and Back.
If you're going to put the smooth disc on Both, you would want to be in a really sandy area where you don't need it to break up the clods. And then it's still going to do what a disc harrow does, which is blend the soil, take your crop in that you had previously, and blend it in so it'll be rotting for the next year.
This has all greasable bearings for durability in it, with One and a half inch high carbon axles. It is Quick-Hitch friendly, for the regular Quick-Hitch or the I-Match John Deere Hitch. It has a clevis hitch designed for your draw bars, instead of just the bolted in pin. This gives it a lot more strength, and makes it easier to hook up.
This disc, the way they're rated, when this is called a R20R, that means that you have 20 discs. That's 2 different sets of gangs of 10, and they're 22 inches high. That's how they're measured, and they have a lot of different ways of combinations that are available. All of the gangs are mounted on bolts, where you can also adjust them to really fine tune in your disc if you want to.
